Posted September 15, 2011SEASONAL CITY-WIDE HYDRANT FLUSHING
The City of Delavan will be completing the Autumn hydrant flushing to maintain water quality from September 27, 2011 thru September 30, 2011. The flushing is scheduled for day time hours between 7:00 am and 3:30 pm.
Hopefully this activity will not affect water quality at the tap of any customers, but if any discoloration or turbidity is noticed during these time periods, or in the early evening hours, letting the water run for a few minutes usually clears up any residual problems.
Please call the Utility Office at 728-5585 ext: 140 if you experience lingering problems with water quality resulting from the seasonal flushing or need additional information.

Wisconsin State Law does NOT allow a motorized vehicle to make a U-turn mid-block.
State Statute 346.33
The operator of a vehicle may not make a U-turn upon a highway ..... mid-block on any street in a business district, ..... or mid-block on any through highway in a residence district, ..... "mid-block" means any part of a street or highway other than an intersection.
